On The Radar: North Creek Antiques, Pella, IA

Hey Junkers!

Are you a junker looking for a huge variety: rust, patina, galvanized, antiques, retro….well you get the idea, right?!? You simply won’t believe the stuff you’re going to find at North Creek Antiques. Just outside of Pella, East on Hwy. 163 there is this funky, fantastic old truck NCA black truck that invites you down a short gravel driveway to a red, weathered barn {a crown jewel in itself} surrounded by, well, JUNK!
I have been following North Creek Antiques, & Stephanie, the spunky owner, on Facebook for a long time. Imagine my surprise, when visiting JunkStock last year, there she was! Although I didn’t realize it was NCA’s booth until after I had picked out a sweet vintage metal cart in chippy white, like this one: antique metal cart
Fast forward to 2016. It wasn’t until July 2nd that I actually got to visit the barn. I took my Mom, Aunt & we were all in heaven. It was a bit of a trip down memory lane for them I think & this is my kind of place too {swoon}. Another dreamy truck meets you before you turn the bend into the parking lot. NCA aqua truck
The outside of the barn is fulled to the brim with wagons, windows, gears, fencing, blades, chicken nesting boxes, radiators, metal grates, {metal carts}, rotary dial phones, screen doors, thermos’s, oil cans, livestock feeders, washtubs mixed in with some retro & made to look old new home decor’. NCA outside the barn
NCA inside the barn
This is only a sample of their fantastic inventory! Pictures don’t do it justice so imagine what it’s like when you actually get there, you’ll be transformed for sure.

NCA Stephanie & Pam < This is Stephanie & Pam : an amazing junk duo who are inviting, down-to-earth, fun & know their junk 🙂 Now that I’ve got your attention, here is their Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/northcreekantiques/ so you too can plan to visit North Creek Antiques, keep up on all their travels {JunkStock, Junk Jubilee & more as vendors} & get to know them better!

Happy Antiquing Junkers!
