Romantic Country Magazine showcases Spring Pastels

This issue of Romantic Country Magazine is just what us wishing-for-Spring junkers needed!  If you see it at the checkout counter or other magazine display places, it’s the perfect thing to get your creative thoughts rustling.  Not intentional but I noticed a theme throughout the publication:  pastels!  Home decorators are bold to use this palette in big furniture pieces such as furniture, walls, curtains & kitchen counter tops, I admire that.

Even if it’s not the pastels that you notice, there are plenty of other pieces you’ll find you might want to try, use or places to go.  Features included in this issue are beautiful floral, hearts, some great DIY projects, charming home tours, meeting new people, getaways & finding places to go.

I wanted to share nearly all the pictures but a few won out because….you need to get this magazine & see them all for yourself!  Sit back with it, I’m sure you’ll find something that stirs your Spring home decor ideas.

Who wouldn’t buy this based on the cover alone? Exactly, no one 🙂
The kitschy canister could almost make me want to re-do my kitchen!  The pillows could very well be hand-me-down’s.
Above the bed, the wire heart with flower petals is adorable ❤  Notice the glass knob that the other heart is handing from?
Hello, I’m a craft supply hoarder….& the gingerbread trim on the desk makes we swoon.
Paper flowers are still popular.  I’m loving that white, chippy wooden lamp tucked into the corner of the work desk.
The shape of the pink lamp is divine!  Doesn’t that quilt make you sleepy just thinking about napping with it? Oh yes 🙂
Tour this cottage for some dreamy inspiration. I’m loving the use of those shutters.  I’m going to guess it’s an over-sized handkerchief handing in the window.
You can’t go wrong with a light & airy kitchen.  See those vintage dishes in the open cabinets?
Ok, now I want to collect crowns with patina.
I too have little birds sitting here & there.  The fabric on the chair has to be vintage.  Those drawer pulls remind me of a desk my Grandparents had.
Here’s the other side of the sofa.  Not a traditional coffee table but the chippy box works.
Chandeliers are fantastic in any room & these caned-back chairs in Winter white are my favorites.
Get the low down on where to find some of the best vintage/junk/cottage shopping events across the country!  Have your junk calendar near 🙂
I’m going to need an ATM, ha!
White is a blank canvas that all other color combinations can find a place to shine.  And what a great reminder to add fresh flowers to our homes!
Almost {almost} anything can be turned into a headboard: a sideways door, a picket fence gate, hand railings, narrow baskets…what do you have around the house that could work?
Aaaaa, what an awesome DIY {or like I say TIY} project; the fabric on those pillows is just so fun!

Happy Home Inspirations Junkers!
